Data Entry Operator

General Description
The Data Entry Operator role is responsible for gathering and validating all information associated with but not limited to individual location data for retailers throughout the state of Florida and abroad. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail.
Job Description:
  • Using a proprietary application, compare batches of collected data and validate all discrepancies
  • Using selected industry GIS tools, identify rooftop coordinates of individual retailer locations and apply these onto proprietary corporate database
  • Follow the lead of the Sr Data Analyst on data collection and validation steps and procedures
  • Review and validate retailer company trending reports for accuracy
Skills, Abilities, Experience Required:
  • Extensive knowledge using the internet, particularly for research purposes
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc)
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Education and Certification Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
  • Knowledge of Regular Expressions (RegEx) in any form
  • Creation of custom reports using data visualization software
  • Knowledge of Google Earth, Maps, or any other industry standard GIS application
